What happens if I change work types and the new type doesn’t have same status?

If you change the work type on a piece of work and the new work type statuses are different it will default to the top level status.

You can apply a work type in bulk to affect multiple work items if you apply it to a recurring piece of work.

How do I know when a Tasklist Automator is valid?

Once created, a Tasklist Automators will display in red or orange if there are any issues with it.

Why is a status not available for my task?

If you are trying to assign a task, email or note a certain status, but it isn't available, check your Task Status settings.
