This error is likely occurring because the folder you’ve connected in Dropbox is a personal folder. Karbon does not support personal folders, even if they are shared with others. The Document Management feature only works with team folders, which are shared by default and indicated by a building icon in Dropbox.

How to resolve the issue:

  1. Check the folder type in Dropbox – If the folder you’ve connected shows a "people" icon, it's a personal folder. Karbon only supports folders with a "building" icon, which indicates they are team folders.

  2. Move the folder – To resolve the error, disconnect the personal folder from Karbon and connect a team folder instead.

Still having issues?
If the error persists after connecting a team folder, please contact Karbon Support to investigate further.
