When I view Billing I am asked to enter a start date. What does this mean?

We only want to bring in the work that you intend to bill through Karbon.

To help with a smooth transition to Karbon's Billing feature and to ensure you can easily get started, we only want to bring in the work that you intend to bill through Karbon. To ensure work that has already been billed is excluded, you can select a start date. The following will not be included:

  • Fixed fee work items with a start date that is before the billing start date

  • Time and Material work items with the last time entry/expense that were added before the billing start date

  • Time entries and expenses on contacts that were added before the billing start date
