How can I keep time entries from work items I no longer need?

Move time entries to the client record before deleting work items to ensure the time is preserved for billing and not lost.

If you’ve tracked time on work items you plan to delete but still need to bill that time to the client, the best approach is to move those time entries directly to the client record first. Once the time is reassigned, you can safely delete the work items.

If you skip this step, the time entries will be lost from both the work item and the client record.
