Karbon allows you to set a default language for specific features within your account. You can choose either English or French. While most of Karbon’s interface is still controlled by your browser’s language settings, the language setting in Karbon affects certain system-generated elements, such as the format of dates in scheduled work items.

Language Setting Controls:

  • Browser Preferences: Most of Karbon’s interface (menus, labels, etc.) is controlled by your browser’s language settings. If your browser is set to French, Karbon will automatically display in French.

  • Karbon Language Setting: This controls backend elements like date formats in scheduled work items. For example, if your language is set to French, the date format will follow the French convention (DD/MM/YYYY) for scheduled tasks.

Currently, this setting only impacts date formats, but more features will be included in the future.

How to Change the Language Setting:

  1. Navigate to Settings off of the Main Menu.

  2. Locate the Account Settings section.

  3. Under Language, select either English or French.

  4. The change will apply immediately to applicable features, such as the date format in scheduled work items.
