If you have a work title that is set to describe the work you're doing for the Client but it isn't the Client facing title you wanted them to see, change the External Name of the work item in the work item or work template.
Changing the External Name in Work
You can change the External Name of the work item by:
Open the work item
Click on 'Details'
Press 'Edit' under the section 'Basics'
Add a new External Name
Click Save
** Please keep in mind, if the work item is on a schedule, it will ask if you want to update for just that work item or all work items in the schedule. **
Once you've updated the External Name, when you go to send a Client Request, the work name they will see will be the External Name. This will also appear as changed in the Client Portal.
If you use the placeholders available in the Client Request, when you update the External Name, the work name placeholder will then show as the External Name.
Changing the External Name in a Work Template
You can change the External Name of the work item by:
Open the work template
Click on 'Details'
Press 'Edit' under the section 'Basics'
Add a new External Name
Click Save
Publish your Template changes
