1. What data can I sync?

You can sync HubSpot Company and Contact records to Karbon Organizations and People. This allows you to keep both systems in sync and streamline your workflow.

2. How quickly does data sync?

  • Data will sync within moments as long as the lifecycle stage in HubSpot matches the options configured during integration.

  • Primary properties like name, address, email address, and phone number are updated immediately.

  • Custom fields in HubSpot will not trigger updates in Karbon. They will only be reflected once another field is changed.

3. Can I sync data back to HubSpot?

  • Currently, no—data can only sync from HubSpot to Karbon.

  • We are actively exploring the possibility of a two-way sync in the future. Stay tuned for updates!

4. Can I sync deals, tickets, or leads?

  • At this time, syncing deals, tickets, or leads is not supported.

  • If you would like to see this feature added, we welcome your feedback! Please share your ideas and suggestions in the Karbon Community.

5. Can I test the sync without creating or updating contacts?

  • Unfortunately, dry-run testing is not available for the sync.

  • We recommend using HubSpot’s Export tools to review your data (including spelling, contact details, and lifecycle stage) before importing it to Karbon.

6. How many records can I sync to Karbon?

  • We’ve successfully tested syncing up to 5,000 records.

  • However, we suggest focusing on active customers rather than importing all records to ensure better performance.

7. How can I add another Karbon contact field to the Custom Field mapping step?

  • The list of fields used in the mapping step is not currently editable.

  • If you need additional fields, we encourage you to submit a feature idea in the Karbon Community for future updates.
