How Will the Credit Notes Launch Affect Custom Reports?
With the launch of the credit notes feature on November 20, 2024, custom reports in Karbon have been affected due to an issue with realization calculations and billing amounts.
While we are actively working on a fix, please note that if you are using custom reports, you may experience inaccuracies in the data.
Known Affected Tables
The introduction of Credit Notes will impact the follow tables:
Invoice
WIP_Item
Billing_Item
USER_TIME_ENTRY_DETAIL
If your custom reports are based on any of these tables, please expect inaccuracies in the data, particularly in areas related to billing amounts and realization calculations.
How Will These Tables Be Affected?
While we are unable to provide specific details about how the tables will be impacted at this moment, we want to emphasize that realization calculations and billing amounts will not be accurate due to the interaction with credit notes.
What Can I Expect?
Custom reports using affected tables will display incorrect billing amounts, realization data, and potentially other related metrics.
WIP, Time, and Realisation Reports may also reflect discrepancies in any custom reports pulled from these tables.
When Will This Be Fixed?
Our team is actively working on a solution, but we do not expect the fix to be ready before the feature goes live. We will provide updates as soon as we have more information and a timeline for the resolution.
