Key Features of the Anchor Integration

How the Integration Works
1. Creating Contacts in Karbon
Upon proposal approval in Anchor, the integration will check if the client’s contact exists in Karbon.
If the contact does not exist:
The contact and their associated organization will be created in Karbon automatically.
If the contact already exists:
Anchor will use the existing contact if the company name in Anchor matches the organization name in Karbon. If not, the work items will not be created, and you’ll receive a notification to manually address the discrepancy.
2. Creating Work Items in Karbon
When a proposal is approved in Anchor, work items will automatically be created in Karbon for the corresponding contact based on the services outlined in the proposal.
The integration uses pre-configured mapping between your Anchor services and Karbon Work Templates. Set up this mapping within Anchor’s integration settings to ensure proper work item creation in Karbon.
3. Overriding Team Member Assignments
Anchor provides the option to override default team member assignments that are set in Karbon’s Work Templates.
During the proposal creation process in Anchor, you can manually adjust which team members are assigned to each work item or role.
