First step:

First, login to Karbon in your preferred phone browser, and sign in as you normally would via app.karbonhq.com.

Then, you can add a shortcut to Karbon on your home screen.

For iOS devices (iPhone, iPad):

  • Launch the Safari browser from your device
  • Enter the url: app.karbonhq.com
  • Tap the "Share" button on the browser’s toolbar—that’s the rectangle with an arrow pointing upward. It’s on the bar at the top of the screen on an iPad, and on the bar at the bottom of the screen on an iPhone or iPod Touch.
  • Tap the "Add to Home Screen" icon in the Share menu (you need to scroll right)
  • You’ll be prompted to name the shortcut (e.g. "Karbon") before tapping the "Add" button
  • The icon will now appear on your home screen and like any other app, can be dragged around and placed anywhere. When you tap the icon, it will load the website in a normal tab inside the Safari browser app.

For Android devices:

  • Launch Chrome for Android
  • Enter the url: app.karbonhq.com
  • Tap the menu button (3 vertical dots) and tap "Add to Home Screen"
  • Enter the name of the app (e.g. "Karbon") and click "Add"
  • The icon will now appear on your home screen like any other app shortcut or widget with the Karbon logo. Drag it around and put it wherever you like. Other popular Android browsers also operate the same like Firefox for Android (e.g. tap the menu button, tap the "Page" option, and tap "Add to Home Screen").

For Windows phone:

  • Open Internet Explorer browser
  • Enter the url: app.karbonhq.com
  • Tap the More (…) button and tap "Pin to Start" in the menu that appears.
